i'm a hip hop producer and studio engineer. i now run a dedicated vocal recording studio and production facility in my home. I study hermeticism, and a bunch of rather esoteric subjects you've probably never heard of. think "davinci code on acid."

i went to one of these a few years ago and was blown away. if you are in or around chicago, actually even if you're not...go to this.
i guarantee that when you leave, you will be a changed person. addressing issues very pertinent to our times, the version 8 is "an annual springtime convergence that brings together hundreds of artists, musicians, and educators from around the world to present some of the most challenging ideas and progressive art initiatives of our day. The eleven day festival showcases emerging trends in art, technology and music."
there is a strong activist and educational leaning within the version 8 festival, and all versions before. i strongly urge anyone to check it out.
